The neighbouring villages of Brasted and Sundridge are set on the A25. Country pubs, antique shops and country walks are the vibe here.

Shopping: Antiques and interiors shops are a specialty in Brasted. You are also served by 2 small general stores. The Make Up & Hair Bar provides hair and beauty services.

Schools: Brasted Preschool and Sundridge Church of England Primary School. Radnor House Secondary School (private, co-ed) is in Sundridge. Valence School, Westerham caters for children aged 4-19 who have physical disabilities and complex medical needs. There are other excellent private prep, county primary and secondary schools in and around Sevenoaks, including Sevenoaks Prep, Solefields, New Beacon, Granville, Sevenoaks School, Walthamstow Hall, and Trinity School.

Eating Out: Country pubs on the A25 and in the outlying areas of both villages provide excellent fayre and are well supported by all in the surrounding area. The Tea Room in Brasted offers lighter options and an afternoon tea.

Fitness: There are a range of village run classes in local village halls. Full fitness suites can be found in Sevenoaks, Hildenborough and Oxted. Country walks are very popular.

Specialties: The White Hart in the centre of Brasted offers dining options within a beautiful building and a large stunning garden. The White Hart is where fighter pilots from WWII airfield at nearby Biggin Hill used to drink. There is a copy of the black board where they signed their names, surrounded by photos from that era. Also, Ruth Ellis, the last woman to be hanged in Britain, is said to have used the pub.
